We continue our series of publications on email templates in English. Today we present to you a Letter of Introduction. A letter of introduction can be written for various occasions. In our example, it is a letter from a new account manager to an existing client. The goal of the letter is to introduce yourself, arrange a personal meeting, and establish a rapport.

Please do not forget that that email templates in English should not be copy-pasted blindly. The best emails are always the ones which have been personalized for a specific person or situation. Your goal is to set the right tone for the communication with your international clients and partners and the best way to do it is with a personal touch.


Dear {{insert first name}}, the purpose of this letter is to introduce myself as your new account manager.

I’ll be picking up where {{insert former account manager name}} left off.
